Short Bio
Marilena Anastasaki is a public health and epidemiology researcher at the Clinic of Social and Family Medicine (CSFM), School of Medicine, University of Crete, with a background on mathematics (BSc) and biostatistics (MSc). She is also a Stipendium researcher at the Faculty of Medicine, Linkoping University, Sweden and is collaborating with CSFM’s Health Promotion Unit affiliated to the University of Crete Research Center for Humanities, Social and Education Sciences. Apart from several locally funded projects, Marilena has worked in more than ten collaborative programmes funded by the European Union or other international organizations, while she has co-authored 17 peer-reviewed publications. She lecturing in the Master of Public Health and Healthcare Management, University of Crete and Frederick University, Cyprus. Marilena is advanced in SPSS and STATA.
