Short Bio
Since 2007 General Practitioner and Family Doctor with ÖÄK-diploma for psychosocial and psychosomatic medicine. Since 2010 Master of Public Health and also since 2010 employee the Medical University of Vienna, 2017 Venia Docendi/Habilitation in General Practice/Family Medicine. She is Associate Professor and a leading researcher in health services research in primary care in Austria. Research stays at Duke University in the USA and at Ghent University in Belgium. Author of numerous publications in high-ranked international journals as well as book chapters. Additionally, project manager of large EU-funded studies regarding primary care and health services research across Europe. She is Austrian representative at the European General Practice Research Network, former advidory board member of the European Forum for Primary Care and a founding member of the Austrian Forum for Primary Care in Healthcare. Since 2020 head of the Unit "Health Services Research and Telemedicine in Primary Care" of the Department of Social and Preventive Medicine, Center for Public Health, MedUni Vienna.
