- Full Professor in Family Medicine, Vice Dean for community teaching, and Chair of the Department of Family Medicine (2006-2011, 2016-)Sackler School of Medicine, Tel Aviv University, Tel Aviv. Chief Medical Director of Leumit Health Services, a nationwide healthcare organization serving 730,000 patients since 2015. Established a research institute in Leumit in 2018 aiming to increase research in primary care. An active family physician, working in an urban clinic in the city of Ashdod, Israel. The Israeli Association of Family Physicians, Chairman 2009-2018, Treasurer 2018-. Executive board member of EGPRN (European General Practice Research Network) 2015-2021 President-Elect of WONCA (world organization of family physicians) EUROPE 2018-2021, and President 2021- Published about 200 research articles in peer review medical journals. My main research interest is in chronic disease management in primary care. Currently supervising: three Ph.D. thesis students, and five MA students at Leumit Health Services Research Institute.
