Short Bio

Brendan is a GP in Newbridge Co Kildare, and Assistant Adjuvant Professor at The Department of Public Health and Primary Care at Trinity College Dublin. Completing a 3 year term as Chair at the HSE Clinical Advisory Group for the National Obesity Program (2021), he is also on Board of The Irish Hospice Foundation, and Beyond Stigma and on Council at The ICGP. He lectures senior medical students at Trinity College on Multimorbidity, Obesity, End of Life Planning, Early Medical Termination of Pregnancy, Global Health and Multiple Unexplained Physical Symptoms (Somatisation).
