- I finished Medical Faculty and training program of family medicine in Ljubljana, my masters study in Obstacles to treatment diabetes 2004 and PhD study in 2010 with the research in prevention of cardiovascular disease. My current habilitation position at University of Ljubljana is associate professor of Family medicine. I work partly as a specialist of family medicine in Medical Center Ljubljana where I am head of Family medicine and partly as an associate professor of family medicine in the Department of Family medicine in Ljubljana, Faculty of medicine. There I am involved in teaching of students, specialist trainees and in continuous medical education of family doctors. I am is also a mentor to several PhD students and one trainee of family medicine. I am a member of faculty senate. My bibliography contains 65 original research articles in Cobiss base and 49 in Pubmed. I am currently a chair of European General Practice Research Network (EGPRN), before that I was a member of Executive Board of EGPRN for several years, first as a chair of RSC and then as Honorary secretary. My research fields are chronic diseases, communication, professionalism, doctor patient relationship, and early detection of cancer. I am registered researcher and expert in qualitative research methods. I am regularly giving lectures to the students of some other medical faculties and I am a member of specialist exam committees in Slovenia, Macedonia and Monte Negro. I am also a member of the Main board of Slovenian Medical Society, vice president of the Slovenian Society for Family medicine, National supervisor for the quality of specialist training in family medicine and a chair of the Expert council for Family medicine at the Slovenian Medical Society.
