Our next interactive EGPRN online workshop will be on Tuesday 20th January 2026, How to understand sampling and sample size.
We are very excited that Prof Gordon Taylor will join us to run the workshop. Gordon, who is Professor of Medical Statistics at the University of Exeter Medical School, UK, is a skilled and enthusiastic medical teacher. He has huge experience in medical research.
Sampling is a key part of high-quality research. Good sampling is important because it ensures that our results are accurate, representative, and can be reliably generalised to the larger population - yet we often struggle when we face it during study design. In this workshop, we will guide you through key principles and practical steps so you can confidently plan and describe sampling in your own research.
