Running a research project on other countries gives us many additional challenges. In this 90-minute workshop, we will explore specific issues related to international, collaborative survey research, looking at each stage of the research process.

By the end of the workshop, participants will have basic skills to be able start to:

  • work with international collaborators to design a study;
  • plan a multi-language questionnaire;
  • reach the intended study population and analyse the data;
  • publish the results.

As with all our teaching, this will be an interactive workshop, not a lecture. There will be no pre-course reading for you to do.

Workshop tutors: Prof. Dr. Michael Harris, UK; Dr Sara Ares Blanco and Dr Ileana Gefaell, Spain
