Our next interactive EGPRN 90 minutes online workshop will be on Tuesday 15th April, Presenting your research: How to give an oral presentation.

Giving a presentation at a conference can make us anxious, but with the right preparation and delivery, you can put your messages across well and you can make a strong impact. We will give you some key tips to help you do this.

By the end of the workshop, you will have skills to be able to:

  • decide how to structure your presentations;
  • plan and design your presentation slides;
  • practice and rehearse your presentations;
  • engage the audience;
  • handle nervousness and answer questions.

As with all our teaching, this will be an interactive workshop, not a lecture. There will be no pre-course reading for you to do.

Workshop tutors: Prof. Dr. Michael Harris, UK; Dr Sara Ares Blanco and Dr Ileana Gefaell, Spain
